Join me on a walk along a woodland path that drops steeply down to a river with a place to sit on the bank surrounded by Wood Anemones and Fairy magic
An old Pagan path with worn steps in a tree-lined alley,
Following an old stone wall, down to the river valley.
Penny Pies, Moss and Lichen growing side by side,
In early Spring, as Nature wakens with new life.
Following a path that twists and turns like a ribbon,
Along the curve of the river, as leaves sparkle and glisten.
Two mighty Oaks, doorway to a magical place,
A steep track leading down to the water‘s edge.
White fleeting beauty, a gift of early Spring,
Exquisite Wood Anemone, so much joy you bring,
As the Sun lies low, you brace the winds;
A harbinger of hope and all good things.
And there, a sacred patch of Wood Anemones,
Prized by those who rest here, loved by Sprites and Faeries in the Realm of Fae.
Nothing more lovely, a picture of purety,
Vibrant, immaculate, joyful, beautiful.
Pure white petals with a golden heart,
Fine stamens like tiny yellow planets orbiting around a central star.
Appreciatiing the calm, the call to freedom,
Enchanted woods, made with love, are special kingdoms.
